Followers of Christ need to be characterized by a particular lifestyle.  The Apostle Paul reminds us of our duty to be good citizens and peaceable neighbors wherever we live. Of Course our greatest goal is for the world to see Christ in us as we perform the "ministry of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:18).
